The creators of Baldurs Gate 3 launched a free browser detective game Blood in Baldur’s Gate

Larian Studios has released Blood in Baldur’s Gate, a free advertising browser game, clearly associated with Baldurs Gate 3, in which players have to investigate bloody events 15 years before those that we learn about in the new chapter of the series.

What to do in the game? In fact, there are not so many, at least for now. Basically, players monitor the progress of the case, reading the events of the day on the map of the city of Baldur’s Gate and voting to decide where to continue the investigation the next day. However, the game has an inventory, so there are assumptions that you can receive objects and perform various actions.

You start with a corpse found in Sailor’s Crossing, and must, after reading the description, decide where to go – on Admiral’s Way or Fisher’s Wharf.

If you want to take part in the Blood in Baldur’s Gate investigation, all you need to do is go to the bloody trail, that is, click on the link.

Otherwise, we remind you that Baldur’s Gate 3 will be released on August 31, 2023 on PC and PS5.

This is what I understand the advertising company. My respect for their marketer (it would mean at least something).

Maybe what clothes will be given to the game. Authorization is required.

Yes, I also thought at once). PoE 2 had something similar

Good PR for the upcoming release of the game

As in the huts, it makes sense to choose the most illogical actions, and watch how GM will get out. If the full version of the game will show that GG is not even able to find its dick, then it will be PR PR.

Very interesting, I will definitely pass.

Very original, I really look forward to the game.

The question is exactly one: FOR WHAT? For what? 2000s, when such a browser nonsense was popular, have long passed. Are there really no normal PR ways? There are some screenshots there, according to the Laura, tell something, by characters, the video is to make a video on some rare topic or element?

It would be better that they spent on this craft, used really and did something important for the main game. Why is it a spray of attention, why? This is not AAA project, but an indie from an indie studio, a niche product, for a certain category of fans, for old gamers mainly, which definitely will not lead to cheap tricks. So why?

Nonsense and not marketing.

Yeah, indeed, the game has not been in early access for more than a year and players do not know anything about the game and a screenshot or vidos for them will open their eyes.

Now the Larias have become an indie studio and a series of Baldur Nisheva? Friendly, you get much better to reveal your eyes than the developments, maybe you will go to marketing to them?

What the hell did you shit.

"Why books when there are films?", "Why think with your head when it needs to be eaten?", "Why is there cabbage when there is a potato?" and many more comparisons that make fun of the stupidity of the issue.

Larian in 2013, asking Kickstarter a million dollars to create his next game: Indie

Today, Larian has 300 people working on one game, which they independently finance and independently publish: Not indie

Such a strange logic?

But what about such an “indie” AA-role-playing game as Pathfinder Kingmaker? Or Kingdom Come Deliverance? This is triple-a game, in your opinion?

I have been fond of the game indie scene since the beginning of the 2000s, When places such as DEXTERITY Software forums, and then Indie Gamers, were places where the developers gathered before everything exploded in the late 2000s, And, as far as I remember, indie always meant independence from the publisher (or other financing scheme that could affect the game). It was also mainly applied to games, and not directly to the developers – Indie developers have always been those who could live at the expense of their indie games.

I believe that indie is more consistent with the absence of the publisher, in this case, both for distribution and finance. If the company independently publishes and finances, it is still independent, regardless of size, because it does not play a ball with publishers such as EA, Activision or Ubisoft, to spread. Another example of this can be Paradox, I would qualify them as independent indie developers because they develop and publish their own games. They are perhaps one of the most successful independent publishers, but, nevertheless, they are independent. Yes, they themselves are publishers, but they are much more limited in volume than major AAA publishers.

Until the company is relied on these publishers AAA for distribution, I would qualify them as indie. Therefore, Larian Studios is an indie developer.
