War Thunder developers listened to the players, thanked for interesting ideas and promised changes

Gaijin Entertainment studio shared the results of a War Thunder user survey. After the previous, very controversial change in the economy of the game, which actually forced players to use micallors more often, the developers decided to focus more on the opinions and proposals of adherents of the game. In total, 14,562 people took part in the survey, for which the studio sincerely thanked them.

Of the almost 15,000 answers, the developers chose the most common problems. It turned out that up to 90% of the participants affected the issues of economics and progressiveness, in particular, the cost of repairs and methods of its payment. More than 30% of respondents informed Gaijin Entertainment about their dissatisfaction with the current BR (combat rating) of vehicles, methods of their appointment and a range of fights. 4% of players also noted the mandatory purchase of modules, free repair or lack of modifications from premium transport.

As for gameplay, about 10% of respondents were devoted to this issue. The topic of locations, as well as night battles, dominated here – many noted the need to improve clashes in such conditions.

"More than 90 percent of the reviews concerned problems with the economy and progress. Basically, it was about the cost of repairs and the opportunity to pay for it due to activity and effectiveness in battles, that is, awards for help in destroying the enemy, the ratio of the number of murders to the number of dead, capture of zones, repairs and other assistance to team members, etc.D. A separate problem was the time that new players required to promote the highest levels", It is said on the website War Thunder.

Locations – especially in terrestrial battles, their size, together with the ability to fire from one end from the opposite. This is a very important topic. For a long time we tried to study our cards, developing special tools. We created "Heat maps" – created on the basis of the analysis of deadly shots – and compared them to the system "Likes" and prohibitions of cards by players. As the game and adding vehicles to many cards, new problems appeared or the old ones became too significant, the developers write further.

What will ultimately change in the economy, progression and gameplay War Thunder, will be known on June 14. It is worth noting that the developers want to conduct such polls at least once every three months. Will it be successful? It is hoped that yes.

From the comments on Reddit it can be seen that players are skeptical and restrained about information from Gaijin. The Truckfluster user, for example, expresses hope for a possible change in the approach of developers to fans, and Thomasnorge224 states that it can return to War Thunder as soon as the details are known.

You must be careful, but it looks pretty good. Gaijin indicates the problems that we have reported about, and offers some solutions to these problems. Honestly, I am almost excited about the date of June 14. I want to see what they will come up with. I think we attract their attention in another way than before. It seems to be progress, but, as I already said, I am still careful

It sounds good, but this is still Gaijin, so I’ll wait and see what will actually happen before you fire. Perhaps I will return to this game

Recall that after the aforementioned changes made to War Thunder, the game experienced the so-called Revoy-Bombing in Steam. Players massively set negative assessments to the game on this platform until 80,000 of them were hidden. The community planned to organize a huge boycott because of this, which, however, turned out to be unsuccessful. In the end, the developers apologized to the community for poorly perceived changes in the game.
